A quick trip to Wiladma Island. There’s much more to explore on this island… I will return.

More pics of quiet solitude in second life®. Don’t let orientation island scare you off… it is possible to find beautiful, isolated places where you can take your time exploring and learning second life. The pics of the airship were taken in sculptomancy, everything else was in phaedra.
For anyone wondering if I do any postwork on the images: generally I adjust levels, sharpen and then add my watermark. I believe that just like first life images, second life images can benefit from basic postwork… cameras aren’t perfect in any world.

More sightseeing in second life. One thing I find frustrating is trying to remember exactly where I took a snapshot. There is no easy way to browse location history and passing between areas is often unnoticeable. Creating landmarks everywhere I go is not going to work well, and emailing all images so I have a slurl attached is not a realistic option (it would be nice to have the slurl or location name embedded into the image’s exif information… or a simple locationstamp option for images). Going forward, more of my images may display the top ui bar showing the location.

I spent some time tweaking my appearance in second life® and took a self portrait high above lappet. My avatar now looks a bit more like my real life self (except for the hat).
Uazzo gardens was my next stop… It’s a nice, quiet place with some beautiful scenery and lots of interesting wildlife.
